Meet Baby Yoda, a 3 can germanium fuzz box with voltage invertor so you can daisy chain! Based on the classic Baldwin Burns Buzzaround fuzz from the mid to late 60’s which in many peoples opinion is the holy grail fuzz box. Originals are ridiculously rare to come by and when they do you are looking at a 4-figure sum. It is the sound of Robert Fripp on David Bowie’s “Heroes” which also happens to be one of my favourite song. It barks & spits like an uncaged animal, it roars and cuts through like nothing I’ve ever heard. And there are so few original Buzzarounds left out there, let alone one that’s actually working properly, so we are left with few options other than recreate the fuzzy god of days gone by. I was amazed the tone, the rich harmonics, the fatness, the versatility, and the almost surreal openness of the sound with virtually any good guitar I plugged into it (ive not got any bad ones to try it with). The Baby Yoda can create a range of tones from classic vintage fuzz through to chunky overdrive and modern rock distortion. You’ve got 4 pots to play with, Volume, Sustain, Trim and Balance. This is an easy build. There’s no specialist knowledge needed, all the parts drop into place. Just please be careful soldering those beautiful germanium PNP’s into place. This kit is supplied with a JP 125B Enclosure. As you can see the PCB is designed for right angled mounted pots so you will have a nice neat build once comple. Wait. What’s this, your eyes do not deceive you. Top mounted jacks and power you say? You have the choice with this kit. Top or side mounted. The kit comes with the mini styled jacks as standard. If you’re after anything but the full kit, its irrelevant… I Wonder What it Compares to. This kit compares to the Buzzaround Fuzz. Build Guide – guide pdf is available for downlaod from my site. Whats Included with Each Option. PCB Only – Just the plain PCB. PCB & Components – PCB, onboard components and any pots and toggle switches. PCB & Components and off board parts – As above with off board components (foot switch, Jacks, 9v socket, LED). Full Kit – As above with undrilled enclosure. Full Kit & Drilling – Full kit with drilled enclosure. Drilling is an optional extra for the Full Kit. There is a small surcharge for this. Drilling includes all the holes for a complete pedal. You will need 4 knobs for this kit. I suggest you get medium sized. Please be sure to read the build document before you order. The kits are enjoyable but can also be challenging. You will have to identify components, calculate resistor codes and be able to solder them into place. All kits require full assembly and any images of completed PCBs are for reference only. If you want the kit pre building then select this option, you must add your knobs from the knob section or it will come without any! After listening to suggestions and request from the many artists who have enjoyed our previous octave effects, the “Tender Octaver Pro” from MOOER expands on the micro version, bringing together a whole host of cool new features and options with very easy to use controls. With these added features the “Tender Octaver Pro” becomes much more than just an octave pedal making it possible to do harmonization, pitch shifting, wammy and detune chorus effects. Like before the dry, sub and upper voices each have their own dedicated, independent level controls. Unlike before the Sub and Upper each have their own tone and pitch controls too, giving a lot more customization options for shaping your sounds. The Pitch controls are infinitely adjustable between unison and +1/-1 octave making it possible to create all kinds of interesting harmonies and special effects. Connecting a standard expression pedal to the “Tender Octaver Pro” expands on this and opens up the possibility of real time pitch shifting. As if this wasn’t enough we have added a smooth control for automatic ambient volume swells. This is all put together into one of our twin series pedals with stereo outputs and 4 storable user presets which can be easily scrolled through live using the dedicated footswitch. YOUR BEST SOURCE FOR PRO AUDIO GEAR. Two Notes Audio Engineering Le Bass 2-Ch Preamp Guitar Effects Pedal Stompbox. Two Notes Audio Engineering LeBass 2-Channel Preamp Guitar Effects Pedal. With Le Bass , the ultra clean Channel A is perfect for today’s modern techniques with lightning fast response and a full spectrum of tone. Channel B tips its hat to the foundation of rock bass with solid punch and a sweet break up available when things get down and dirty. Cold Fusion lets you live in the limelight with the best of both worlds while Hot Fusion lets you take center stage with searing bass from a focused distortion to synth-like growls. From the moment we launched the Torpedo C. We believed it was possible to build a high quality pedalboard to entirely replace a conventional tube amplifier system: the complete floor rig. Even with an almost limitless choice of available guitar effects, we always felt that finding a very good preamplifier in a pedal format was challenging. This is why Two notes is proud to premier its line of tube preamplifiers: Le Clean, Le Crunch, Le Lead and Le Bass. The selection of a preamplifier is the core of your overall tone and thus requires the greatest attention. When building a complete floor rig, only the very best will make the cut. The Two notes preamplifiers are a True High Voltage Design running internally at 200 volts to preserve the interaction between you and your guitar while working perfectly with your other effect pedals. Each of the four different versions deliver the unique tube warmth, dynamics, and the musical compression from the amps we know and love, now in a more convenient pedal package. And, of course, you can use them as an elaborate tube overdrive, in front of your favorite amplifier! Two channels plus Fusion mode. The A and B channels are totally independent, each with their own voicing and eq section: Bass and Treble on A, Bass, Mid with Mid Sweep and Treble for B. On Channel A you will find a lower gain tube stage with a pre-gain EQ using a more vintage design approach, while Channel B offers more gain and a very powerful post-EQ (with mid sweep). The exclusive Fusion modes open new horizons. In “Cold Fusion”, the two channels are in parallel, meaning you can blend the cleaner sound from A and your more distorted sound in B to gain clarity and articulation. In “Hot Fusion”, A and B are cascaded, meaning A can be used as a boost for B with both A and B EQ’s available to shape the result. Each preamp features 2 channel footswitches, A and B. Simultaneously pressing A and B will ac- tivate the Fusion mode. Pressing A, B or A and B will also send a specific Midi Program Change command, that can be used to select a preset on your Midi multi effects and/or Torpedo C. In addition, the preamplifier may respond to a Program Change sent from another Midi device al- lowing a seamless integration into any pedalboard switching system. Combining several Two notes preamps on your pedalboard makes things really interesting. Connected via Midi, each preamp will listen to the others. They can be configured in Multi-channel mode: pressing A on preamp 1 will by- pass preamp 2, like the channels of an amplifier. Alternately, when this mode is off: traditional on/off switching for all preamps, a preamp can be a boost/overdrive for the one that follows. Two notes is first and foremost a team of music lovers who are all great admirers of musicians. We are highly qualified engineers, technicians, and musicians, whose purpose is to facilitate the life of guitar and bass players without infringing on their playing habits. Our mission consists in providing them with studio-grade products that are specifically designed for the guitar and bass. This analog speaker simulation is specifically voiced for your Le Preamp Model, and based on our Torpedo simulator. This speaker simulation affects the DI output and the Headphones output. Le Preamp can be used in various configurations: as a traditional preamplifier, it can be connected to a power amplifier and cabinet, or in the Return input (or Power Amp In) of a guitar or bass amplifier. Placed before an amplifier, it acts as a boost, overdrive or distortion pedal. Alone or with the Torpedo C. It can also be an autonomous system, light and small, ready to be directly connected to a mixing board on stage as well as in the studio. By simply plugging your headphones, you can play silently. Connect it to your sound interface for perfect recordings using the Wall of Sound III. 5 basic functions can be accessed through MIDI Program Changes (PC) sent by an external MIDI device. In other words, your Le Preamp can receive a MIDI PC asking for bypass or channel switch. Any MIDI message received will be transmitted to the MIDI output (MIDI Thru function). When using Le Preamp as a MIDI controller, you will be able to send a MIDI PC to trigger preset changes on another MIDI device, such as a Torpedo C. Or an FX unit. Le Bass comes with a 16 cabs license for Wall of Sound III. Wall of Sound III (WoS III) is a speaker and miking simulation plugin. A plugin is a software you can load on a track of your sequencer, such as Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, Reaper, inside your Digital Audio Workstation. With your Le Preamp, Two notes gives you access to 16 virtual cabinets you can load in our award winning Wall of Sound III plugin. With your Le Preamp and WoS III you have the best configuration to record amazingly good guitar or bass tones for all your musical projects. To download your 16 cabinets, register your product on the Two notes Website, download and install the Wall of Sound III (WoS III) plugin. You will be guided step by step through the process. YOUR BEST SOURCE FOR PRO AUDIO GEAR. JHS Muffuletta 6-way Fuzz Muff Settings Guitar Effect FX Stompbox Pedal. In 1967 the legendary Mike Matthews started experimenting with circuits for the electric guitar, and by early 1969 he had created a circuit that has become one of the most legendary, collected and mythical pedals in the history of guitar effects. With 30+ versions made throughout its almost half a century lifetime, the Big Muff Distortion/Fuzz has personally pioneered the sounds of some of the biggest bands and musical movements in history. The Muffuletta is our tribute to the legend and story of one of the greatest pedals ever invented. Let’s take a look at what makes the Muffuletta the ultimate recreation of this circuit in a way that has never been done before. The heart of the Muffuletta is the fact that it replicates five (yes five) classic Big Muff circuits from years gone by as well as a new and original JHS version for a total of six Muff models. All executed without any digital signal processing or digital emulation. When you choose a model, you are achieving analog tone that uses real components and values found in the original units. We have selected our favorite classic versions from the pages of history and made them available in one small format pedal that is easy to understand, operate and do what it should do. Replicate rare, expensive, mythical and sought after versions of this circuit with ease. Looking at the pedal, there are four controls: Volume, Tone, Sustain and Mode. The “Volume” control works just like any other volume control allowing you to adjust the overall output of the pedal to your taste. The “Tone” control lets you brighten or darken your overall tone. The “Sustain” control is best understood as a gain or distortion control as it gives more distortion to the circuit. The “Mode” control lets you choose from our six different versions of the Big Muff on the fly. Looking at the “Mode” control you will see six icons around the lower 50% of the knob. Let’s take a look at each mode and why they made the cut to be in the ultimate Big Muff tribute. JHS – “2015” The JHS Muff is a JHS original take on the classic circuit. You will find this version more powerful, less compressed with a more haunting mid range. It is also the best for bass guitar. Over the years people nicknamed this unit based on the fact that is looks somewhat like a lamb or animal. It is best known for having a scooped mid range, less gain and being overall darker. Famous users include David Gilmour (main Pink Floyd recordings), Ernie Isley (Eisly Brothers), and J. It is best known for having more low-end response and being more articulate. Famous users include Santana, David Gilmour’s Pete Cornish made pedal boards, John Lennon, Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine), and possibly Jimi Hendrix. This is not to be confused with the later redesigned NYC version released much later in 2000. It is best known for a more aggressive sound. Famous users include Frank Zappa, Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins), Jack White, The Edge (U2), Beck, and Pete Townsend (The Who). It is best known for having less clarity and less low end. Famous users include Dan Auerbach (Black Keys), Chris Wolstenholme (Muse), and Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails). It is best known for having more mid range, brighter overall tone and less gain. Famous users include Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), John Fogerty, Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Mike Mills and Peter Buck (REM). The Big Muff has an amazing history and has been used by some of the most influential guitarists ever. Never before has there been a single pedal that gives you all these different eras of it’s tone. We are convinced that the Muffuletta can fit in anyone’s rig who loves dirt, distortion and fuzz, and we think it will be hard for you to disagree once you plug it in and play. With a pedal so stuffed with tasty tones you will have a hard time needing anything else to curb your appetite. 5 legendary Muff fuzz settings. 1 JHS fuzz setting. THE ROYAL BLUE OVERDRIVE IS AN EXTREMELY TOUCH SENSITIVE OVERDRIVE. It offers wide range of tones from light overdrive into distortion and at lowest Distortion knob setting works as an EQ. It can also be used to create tube amp-like crunchy’strike hard for distortion’ effect. There is not much filtering on the overdrive, to provide transparent tone that you can tailor with both the Treble and Bass controls. After that, just turn on the effect, tweak the knobs, and vocalize into the mic as you play. Don’t worry-you don’t even need to be able to sing in tune. You handle all the pitch control with your hands as normal, while the VO-1 applies the complex formant characteristics of your voice to the tone in real time. The VO-1 also features an effect loop for patching in external effects, plus a Blend knob for mixing vocoder and straight tones together. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer services. Therefore they are directly suited to bass guitars. The Keeley Bassist Compressor is both musical and very transparent. Where our older compressors were based on the CA3080 or the LM13700 and are perfect for single coil guitars, the new Keeley Bassist Compressor has no problems with active pre-amps and line level input signals! Not only can the Keeley Bassist handle astonishingly large signals, it has an incredible bandwidth of over 20 KHz and incredibly low noise. No detail in your bass guitar’s tone will be lost. The Keeley Bassist will be a sound investment in your tone, you now have rack-mount quality at your feet. When bass players use the Keeley Bassist Compressor they will be greeted with a sound that is more easily amplified and heard. Using the effect as a. Saves your speakers from clipping and distortion. Set the Threshold to look for peaks in your signal and limit distortion from your amplifier or damage to your speakers. Simply watch the Threshold Indicator light to see what type of playing you want to limit, it’s that easy! Next set the Compression Ratio Control to determine how much squash you want when the signal is above Threshold. Set Compression all of the way down for no (1:1) compression and use the Gain control as a boost! Set Compression all of the way up for an above-Threshold hard-knee limiter. A typical soft compressor setting would be 2:1 above threshold. A good starting ratio for the Compression control may be 4:1 as it generally sounds good with bass guitar. A ratio of 5:1 or 6:1 will sound great for slap or funk-style playing. For synth-bass try 10:1 Compression. There is a certain figure that just sounds good as far as compression goes; and that’s 125 dB/second. With feed forward compressors that use this type of true-RMS detector you use a single time constant parameter. The timing capacitor gives you attack and release times that are adaptive to your playing level or the signal input to the compressor. Bottom line: Attack and Release times vary on program content. Attack times are generally speaking. 100 times faster than release times. Attack Time: typically 15ms for 10dB, 5ms for 20dB, 3ms for 30dB. Release Time: typically 8ms for 1dB, 40ms for 5dB, 80ms for 10dB, 160ms for 20dB, 240ms for 30dB. Voltage Input: 9.6V. Input Impedance 1 Meg ohm. Output Voltage Gain: +30dB Boost. Total Harmonic Distortion: 0.1%. Threshold Indicator: Dual LED. The item “Keeley Bassist Compressor Limiting Amplifier Guitar Effects Pedal Stompbox” is in sale since Wednesday, December 7, 2016. YOUR BEST SOURCE FOR PRO AUDIO GEAR. JHS Haunting Mids EQ Preamp Mid-Boost Analog Guitar Effects Pedal Stompbox. JHS Haunting Mids EQ / Mid-Boost Guitar Effects Pedal. JHS Pedals have a pedal that gives you the tone that has long eluded your white knuckled grasp: the Haunting Mids. The Haunting Mids is a frightfully effective Sweepable-Mids EQ Preamp that can turn any amp or pedal into a ghastly monster. With it’s ability to sweep mids and then boost or scoop them, you can find the tone that haunts your imagination. The controls on the Haunting Mids are Volume, Mids, Sweep, and a Lo/Hi toggle. The Volume acts as a standard volume control to be able to set at unison or boost the signal. The Mids and Sweep controls work very closely together so you can find the perfect frequencies to boost or scoop mid frequencies. When the Mids knob is at 12 o’clock, no frequencies are boosted or scooped. Turning the Mids knob to the left of 12 o’clock will begin to scoop out midrange frequencies, while turning the Mids knob to the right of 12 o’clock will begin to boost midrange frequencies. The Sweep knob controls the what frequencies will be affected. Sweep knob to the left will cause low-mids to be affected, while Sweep knob to the right will cause hi-mids to be affected. The Lo/Hi toggle is like a “Q” function and controls how sharp the frequency peak is that you’re affecting with the Mids knob. “Lo” is a softer and wider peak for slightly subtler affect as you tweak the Mids/Sweep knobs. “Hi” is a sharper and steeper peak giving you a very pointed and defined effect as you tweak the Mids/Sweep knobs. This pedal is fantastic on an almost-breaking-up amp to send it into midrange tube driven heaven, or with an overly scooped distortion to give you the bite you need to cut through with every “djent, ” blues lick, rock riff, or lead line. It’s also excellent for taming an overly mid-heavy amp or pedal rig. The Haunting Mids is not an overdrive pedal, it’s a Mids pedal that when paired with an overdrive, will make you scream for more of this friendly ghost.
